Choice 2 - BEING A DISCIPLE OF CHIRST
Luke 10:38-42 11:1-13, 12:13-40, 13:23-24, 14:16-33
1. -serving others, centered around Christ, willing to learn, giving, selfless, full of faith, prepared for Christ's return, constantly striving to return to God's presence, loving of everyone, planning and thoughtful
The Savior knew following him would not be easy for the disciples, but just as we are taught in nursing... you have to weigh the risks vs. the benefits or choices, and in following Christ the risks you have to suffer don't even compare to the benefits you will recieve.
2. I would like to apply the attribute of "centered around Chirst" more to my life. I got this principle from the story of Mary and Martha, because Mary really stops her life when Christ comes around to learn from and listen to him. I could apply this by being more thoughtful of Christ throughout my day. I tend to get caught-up in the business of the day I don't think of Him too much throughout the day. I know that this could make a huge difference in my life, this are very different when you include Christ in everything you do.
3. In order for someone to ultimately be a disciple of Jesus Christ they must forsake all that he has, offer their whole soul, fast and pray continually, endure to the end, give all we have to our Father in Heaven, follow the prophets, giving up all other things for the Gospel
